Privacy policy

This is a convenience translation. The German version is legally binding.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by myself on my own server at my home. No third-party hosting provider receives your data.

3. Server log files

When you visit the site, the web server and the upstream reverse proxy automatically process technical data: your IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, amount of data transferred and the browser user agent. This is necessary to deliver the site and to ensure security and stability (legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after 7 days. They are not merged with other data.

4. Downloads

When you download a file, the same technical data as in section 3 is processed. No account is required and no further data is collected.

5. Cookies

This site sets exactly one cookie, and only if you actively switch the language: lang stores your language choice (de or en) for one year. It is technically necessary to provide the function you requested and does not require consent (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

6. No analytics, no external content

I use no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts, scripts and images are served from this server only. No data is transferred to third countries.

7. Contact by email

If you write me, I process your email address and message to answer you (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1)(b) where it concerns a contract). I delete the data when your request is settled and no retention obligation applies.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can contact me at any time at the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Data Protection Commissioner of Lower Saxony (Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover).
